Hey!
Is anyone able to confirm or clarify my understanding of this, in relation to myself.

If I received a CCO without conviction (which has just expired) does this mean my offence is now spent?

Does that also mean employers cannot ask me about the spent conviction ?

Kind regards

The arrangements for spent convictions in Victoria changed on 1 July 2022.
Have a read of this.

There are still some conditions ("strings attached"),
and no, not everything is magically automatic.
It can depend on what the offence was, and when it all happened, and what the penalty was.

You would be well advised to seek the assistance of a Victoria based criminal lawyer
to guide you through the new scheme.
