Theoretical question.
If I am sued for a very large sum under civil liability and i cannot pay, can the other party force the sale of my house to recover the money and make me homeless?.
Is there a way of paying weekly as much as I can afford without becoming homeless. In other words, how are civil liability decisions paid off generally? Must I sell or mortgage my house if I have no other assets?
