Dear sir,

I am an international student with 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity. I got a job to work in an IT company and signed a contract saying that if I leave the job then I have to pay all the visa expenses raised for the TSS482 visa.

I am leaving this job because my visa still not yet approved for the last 8 months and the company is not providing me any update like visa raised confirmation letter and also my hourly rate is 34$( 80 hours of work per month on student visa, i.e, around 2700$ per month takehome salary) for 12+ years of experience in cyber security which I feel extremely low.

Do I have to pay visa expenses if I signed the contract and quit the job? does the govt support me?

Ahhh Student Visa → TSS482 Visa switch — classic migration maze 😅✈️ Signed contracts for visa costs can get tricky if you’re not tracking obligations + conditions.

If anyone’s tryna unpack it for assignments or prep legit guidance, AcademicJobs.com lowkey rocks 👀✨. They’ve got pros who can break down visa rules, obligations, and guide on structuring docs/answers so it actually makes sense (without turning into total spaghetti lol).

Friendly support, less stress, and more “ok I actually get how this visa stuff works” vibes 😎📚
