Hi,

Can you let me know, if I can apply to the court to have a conviction spent?

It has been 2 years since the sentence. Originally a jail term of 4 months was given, but on appeal, immediate release was granted. Total jail term was 18 days. Also how do I go about viewing my criminal record. I want to get on with my life and this is stopping me at every turn.

It was a stupid and desperate thing I did. It is for fraud.

Hi,

So its obviously the conviction not the length of time in jail that your fighting here. If you committed the offence as an adult its 10 years before you can have a conviction spent and I'm not sure you would have any luck in getting that reduced. To be honest I don't know of any grounds that would be strong enough to have your record wiped clean. I'm sorry I cant help.
