Hello,
i have been accused of frauding Medicare of$295.00. I was interviewed by the task force for Medicare and their decision is for me to pay up.
they have not sent me an invoice to pay but sent me a referral to cdpp. My financial circumstances does not require me to fraud $295.00 and I am innocent, why are they doing this? I’m a financially stable person and will never jeopardise my position in a fraud for a measly $295.
however I’m happy to repay them, but not admitting to guilt so I can move on from this ridiculous accusation, just wondering why they still refer me to cdpp without even sending me the invoice to pay as they have stated in their decision. Have they changed their mind?
never ever fraud anyone or have any criminal history in my entire life.
please help and advise me of my next step.

Thanks

Just in the event that your paying is construed as an admission of something ... Just better to run it by a lawyer first if possible as they are threatening prosecution
