At one stage she was using colour meditation to assist with managing anger in one of the boys, and she's using homeopathics to help manage coughs and colds. She held one of my boys home from school for a mental health day, I went and met him at the school next day and he's like 'mummy says i'm sick, I'm fine' and he was. nothing wrong with him.

if we have to get an independent children's lawyer, who foots the bill for that? I'm already completely broke.

Use the messages coupled with a lack of doctors/specialist instruction following by subpoena or if you get lucky by getting her to say she does not give the medication alongside the kooky methods

As for the icl parties usually pay half each but there are forms for you fill out if you are suffering hardship or are on benefits to get out of paying them

Which can become a bit tricky if you own your own home

Mate, the queen of england uses homeopathics.

Although people do use traditional medicine, I am not sure the Court would agree it should be used as a replacement to modern medicine for a child. How serious the Court views it, with regards the mother’s overal behaviour, is another matter entirely.

Meditation and mindfulness is widely used, even in school programs, these days.

Original poster, you will need to put some work into discerning what is relevant v nitpicking.

Yup the Queen of England uses homeopathics - Thanks for that perspective. I think that clearly demonstrates the stupidity of your argument. I personally prefer my medical advice come from someone with some expertise... Not the head of an antiquated form of dictatorship... Mind you, if we were to use the English Royals for inspiration on a family law forum, I'm thinking Henry VIII. - He chopped of his wives heads... That is a hell of a lot more efficent than our family law system.

The queen of England uses homeopathics - She is a big girl now, she can make her own choices about her health care. But I'm also pretty sure the queen gets her flu shot every year in case she gets some germs from us commoners.... But some folk - I've been one of them, have had to deal with a primary carer that insist vaccinations are dangerous, that anti-biotics are the work of the devil and cranberry juice will cure my daughter's urinary tract infections...

Missing school for mental health issues... Nope sorry guys you're wrong - this guy isn't getting to see his kids, she is refusing to discuss medical issues. SHARED PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY...

dont get me wrong I don't mind a bit of natural therapies.... I used to suck down rescue remedy before every change over... That stuff works too. But that is my choice. This mum is refusing to provide any discussion with dad about medical stuff.. Shared parental responsibility and all that?

homeopathics
I am not knocking them at all. I am simply pointing out how the court will view them given the current climate in this country on alternative medicenes if they are used at the expense of doctor and specialist prescribed drugs (which can be even worse)

If you two wusses won't knock homeopathics, I will. Homeopathy

While I think the US health system is woeful the status of their research is high.

If you want the Court to order this...

For two years the children stayed with me for five nights a fortnight, and spent time with my on a day on the alternate week, not over night. Effectively six nights, except I'd take them home on the sixth night.

You would be better to steer clear of lodging a full blown attack on mum as a parent and doing this...

I'm going with the path of least resistance and avoiding conflict.

Sure, raise your concerns but be careful not to overdo it...at times I have seen judges barely flinch to matters I would view as being far more serious than these...

are you seeking orders pertaining to the medical condition?

When did you see the kids last?
I am lucky, she isnt completely alienating me. I still see them at least once a week. She is interfering with planned arrangements, they were to stay with me this coming weekend. But, because I've lodged and served her, she now won't let them stay. My best friend and her daughter are coming down from Sydney to gang out for the weekend, they were looking forward, my mate's daughter is four they call each other on their birthdays. Usually I see them seven days in a fortnight.
Over the next four weeks I'll now see them twice.
