I have moved into a rental property and the landlord's mother was the previous Tennant we had a gentleman's agreement about leaving some of her stuff in one of the sheds for a little while . It's been nearly 3 months I have asked her to collect the stuff a number of times and she has fails to do so . We have full use of the sheds nothing on the tennancy agreement stating that she has use of the shed for the time of the lease . Just wondering what I can do because I want use of the shed and the landlord's not doing anything about it.

Hi Jason, if you want to do so, in view of the fact of the landlord connection, you could write a letter saying something like I will give you a further 30 days within which to collect the goods left, failing which I will treat them as abandoned and I will sell or otherwise dispose of them. Good luck.
