I have in the past dealt with a company names Australian Writings.

They claim to be a Sydney Based company, as advertised on their website home page, and furthermore, on the About Us section of their page, they claim to have offices in Sydney.

Furthermore, if you contact this company, they will tell you they are in fact US based, however, their website quite clearly contradicts that statement.

I'm wanting to know if this can be a breach of any sort of Australian Law? Who should I talk to, and what advise I could possibly get?

Although they are an American based company, located in Delaware (as they told me over the phone), would Australian Law still apply considering they are quite clearly misleading customers into thinking they are a Sydney based company?

Please forgive me if this is not in the correct section.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Let me be sure I understand you.
  1. You have paid an essay mill to write your essay; and

  2. you have therefore probably engaged in academic misconduct
    (yes, really, it is!); and

  3. you now have some kind of ("consumer") complaint with the essay mill; and

  4. you now want the law to help you?
Big call.
