I am from India and my Employer from Australia has lodged 457 visa for me on 05th Dec. 2015, through a MARA Agent. Till now I haven't received any update on it. When I inquired with my Employer on the status the visa application, today I received a response stating it is still unassigned / not reviewed.
Under Immigration Law, can you please help me on my applications status, I mean? How long it will take to approve my visa and what would be the process and time frames for the same?
Meanwhile, can I or my Employer contact DIBP for speeding the visa process. I appreciate if you can explain me 457 visa process.
