NSW Trustee & Guardian appointed a Financial Guardian for my late mother who died as a result of an accident in her own home, directly resulting from lack of maintenance. In short, she fell after tripping on ripped carpet, breaking her hip. The house was clearly not maintained to a safe standard. Question is, as Financial Guardian, was the guardian negligent for not allocating funds for maintenance?
