Disclosure offer details to other potential buyers?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to this forum and I’ve recently looking at a property in Brisbane and thought it’s unethical and illegal for the agent to reveal someone else’s offer during the my price negotiation and offering. Can I somehow make a complaint or it legit to disclose someone’s offer?

It can depend on the circumstances. If it was along the lines of, “Someone else offered $X and it wasn’t accepted, so I’d suggest you make a higher offer,” then that’s a commonplace occurrence.
