Hi,

On Saturday the 19th of September I was walking along a road verge and a car side swiped me causing soft tissue injury to my right arm. The car decided not to stop. I got into my car and caught up with them and managed to get a photo of their number plate before the car sped off when they realised I was following it.

The number plate was [Moderator Redacted - Community Guidelines]. When I reported it to police they stated that the number plate didn't appear in their system and that they would not be interested in taking a statement.

Any help on where I could go from here would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

If you need follow up medical treatment, you should report it to the police for insurance claims. Also write down your own recollections while you can.

If you do not require any treatment and have no long term damage probably best to put it down to experience and move on.
