VIC Police Interview - Taping for People with Intellectual Disabilities?

    Is there a particular reason why people who have intellectual disabilities get video taped while conducting a police interview?

    Don't take it personally, many people are taped. Protects both sides :)

    I believe they tape everyone who is being interviewed by police.

    All interviews for indictable offences are video recorded in Vic.
