Hi all,

Looking to get a steer on if I should ask the police to change the 'facts' sheet before my hearing in July, pleading guilty to two offences.

There are some elements of the 'facts' sheet that are not true, or exaggerations which make the situation surrounding the incident sound a lot worse than in fact it is.

I've read you can write to the police and request changes, or speak to the prosecutor at the court on the day... is this an easy and straight forward process? Are the police open to changes?

Secondary question, does how the situation reads according to the 'facts' sheet play a part in how the magistrate decides the sentence? Or is it more black and white based on the charges, criminal history etc?

Thanks,
