My partner has ended our relationship of 15 years. We currently are still building our 'dream' home!
7 years ago we made a verbal agreement that I would pay the utility bills and rates so that she could put money into the house. Over this time she has spent about $50,000 and I have spent about $46,000 on the bills etc.
She is now saying that that what I have paid comes under everyday expenses and which gives her more equity in the house.
Needing advise on this please

yeah she is wrong.
That won't be factored into asset division. What it is worth is what matters.

I agree with @sammy01 ...
Given the length of the relationship, If the $50K was earned during that time, then it's all joint money, including money you earned to pay utilities ... Maybe a different story if the $50K was from an inheritance.

Suggest you consider getting a property valuer in now so you have a professional valuation on paper
