Hi. Just wanting some help. I need to transfer a title deed into my name asap. My partner of 15 years. passed away & left no will. Home was owned by him outright, we lived in the home together in a de facto relationship. We have no children, I am his next of kin & sole dependent. He passed away over 1year ago & I haven't been able to bring myself to transfer the property, it now has become an urgent matter.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Linny,

In this instance I think it is very important to seek independent legal advice.

See https://lawanswers.wufoo.com/forms/get-connected-with-the-right-lawyer-for-you/
to be connected with a lawyer in your local area that specialises in estate law.

Good luck.
