Hi, question is for my brother. He has been Australia since 1989. Committed a few strings of aggregated assult and has been deported in 1999 after doing his time. My question is, he would like to visit us here in Australia. Will immigration do a background check on him including crimial records? And also does criminal records over 10 years clear in NSW?
