I have a conviction for attempted arson, which occurred about 4 years ago. No prison sentence. How can I apply for the conviction to be spent early under criminal law as I need it for work and cannot wait the 10 years?

Hi Che'
I'm not sure of any way to have a conviction spent prior to completion on the requisite timeframe. I read through the 'Criminal Law (Rehabilitation of Offenders) Act 1986' and cant find any reference to early spent convictions.
