Hi

An ex-employee has been charged with 250 counts of fraud ($200k +) from my employer. The committal mention date has been set.

When will the charges be on the public record / will we (the victims) ever get to read the charges in detail?

Also is there any chances the charges would be reduced as I heard there is an economic reason for it to be done by Victoria Police / OPP. I.e. 250 charges is a lot so it would take time in court, so can they reduce it just to fast track and if so, would it reduce any sentence?

Any help would be appreciated.

The charges can be reduced or more correctly consolidated into a smaller number or even a single charge with between dates of the offending.

Does not affect sentencing as it is not the charge/amount of charges that effect the sentencing but the circumstances of the offending.

Charges will already be on the public record.
