I've recently decided I want to know more about my time in foster care. I was in care between the age of approx 2-3 but I don't even know why as my mother won't discuss it. I just need closure from some of the memories I have of that time. From what I've found online, I need to contact the departments foi team which I can do by email. My question is what should the email contain? So far I've put my full name, dob, what information I'm after ie why I was placed in care and I've attached two forms of id. Should this be enough to get some records?
