If they are not providing windscreen cover, then they can't charge for windscreen cover.

And in my opinion the insurance contract would be illegal all together so they must return the money.

Incorrect. If the clause about windscreen cover is found to be invalid, then only that clause would be nullified. The rest of the contract stays intact.

Maybe you're right but I feel like the clause in the "whole" contract is fraudulent and done with the intent of pinching money out of people's pockets.
This happened for several years.
