So it is the 28th of june i was pulled over at 10.29 am and i was pulled over because i had an expired licence (i had no idea) i just finished doing a 6 month suspended period! I asked the police officer several times if i renew my licence can i drive he said yes.....he told me i will have to go to court in a month (meaning july) from the 28th so i assumed the 28th of July. On the ticket i got given today it has the 25th of August at 9.00am. The 25th of August in 2018 is a Saturday. What am i to do about this?

Hi,
Clerical errors don't make the fine as void, it still stands, so it is better to get in touch with the proper authority (RMS in NSW) and ask for the amended infringement, otherwise, once later on, it may cause delays to you.

Hope this helps.

Some QLD courts run on Saturdays.

But just ring the station/visit who issued it. Most likely Pros will realise and NETO it and then the officer you dealt with will either come and find you to reissue it or flag you for reissue which is a pain in the ass for you. Better to just get a new one now, yourself.
