Hi! Can some one advice me what are my rights for used car bought from dealer?
I bought used car of year 2011 run 70k on odometer from a well known dealer and it broke next day after driving approx 120 kms only.
It has a problem with gearbox showing on dashboard screen and does not move. Dealer is ready to fix it but I am scared of driving it with family of 2 young kids and it will give me a problems in feature as well.
What are my options?
Can I ask for refund?

Regardless of any warranty that may apply, as a matter of Australian Consumer Law, a seller can offer to either repair, replace, or refund.
At present, he's offering to fix it.
Start with that.
You're not in K-Mart - you don't have a general right to a refund (ahead of repair or replacement) just because you have lost confidence in the product.
