Monday is our mediation and only today (Friday) my lawyer told me she got my ex-husband's (although not officially divorced yet) positioning statement. It's bad; he wants the whole house for himself and has a legal team to battle this out against me.

I think this mediation is going to be a waste of time. Are there strategies for battling a narcissist ex-husband through the family court system without losing a fortune in legal fees

Not really, unfortunately, but if he makes the process too difficult and remains unreasonable, you could pursue an order for costs against him.

    Alternatively, you could also self-represent.
