NSW How Long Should I Wait for 457 Visa Approval?

Hello, I'm new in this forum .

My employer submitted my 457 visa application on 20/05/16 and I am still waiting for approval. This is the 12th week waiting for my application to be approved.

Is this the normal waiting time? Should I worry?

According to the IMMI website it is 2 months wait on that type of Visa. I would get your employer to chase it up.

Yeah, I have heard of it taking up to 90 days but that was a long one and I think they were missing something. You should contact the employers HR team because they usually have immigration lawyers who deal with this sort of thing.

I just realised your post was from August, I hope you are in country and its all sorted by now.
