G'day. I am after help on the steps required to get a day in family court (and also in regard to grandparents rights). I have my Mediation Certificate, Affidavits and support from one of my Grandson's parents.

Is there a step by step guide to get to court? Thank you

Hi David Cain,

I notice this question was asked a while go, apologies for the delay in response. How did it go? Did you resolve your question?

It's hard to explain the process without knowing what you, as a grandparent, are applying for? What are you asking the court to determine?

If it's the right to see the children, or share in the custody arrangement, take a read of "Grandparents Rights? A Quick Guide on Access to Grandchildren".
