We are a happily married couple that have a beautiful little girl.

We have had ongoing mental abuse issues on a personal level with one of the grandparents for many years, which has flowed into the grandparent contacting friends and family defaming us ( defamation), spreading abuse etc. Other grandparents have been successful in having a restraining order imposed on her. My wife is physically scared of her.

The grandparent is now threatening legal action to our little girl sighting ' grandparents rights'. We are scared of her and our safety and the possible mental abuse and manipulation that could follow.

Given all of this does she have a legal right? Would she be successful?
