We are a happily married couple that have a beautiful little girl.

We have had ongoing mental abuse issues on a personal level with one of the grandparents for many years, which has flowed into the grandparent contacting friends and family defaming us (defamation), spreading abuse etc. Other grandparents have been successful in having a restraining order imposed on her. My wife is physically scared of her.

The grandparent is now threatening legal action to our little girl sighting 'grandparents rights'. We are scared of her and our safety and the possible mental abuse and manipulation that could follow.

Given all of this does she have a legal right? Would she be successful?
