VIC Expired Gift Voucher - Does the Retailer Have to Honour It?

My question is, if a gift voucher has expired, does the retailer legally have to honour it under Australian Consumer Law?

Hi Sandra,

So long as the expiry date of the gift voucher was clearly displayed, then Australian retailers are free to set a period after which they will no longer recognise the amount on the card.
