I recently purchased a travel voucher from a group buying website. When I contacted the merchant to make a booking, they advised that there were black out dates. These black out dates were not included in the fine print at the time of the sale (were subsequently added to the website after they realised the omission).

Is the merchant obligated to honour the voucher under the original terms and conditions at the time the purchase was made and allow bookings inside the (now specified) black out dates (they have advised that they do have availability) under Australian Consumer Law?

I am located in NSW, and the merchant in QLD.

Many thanks

Did the fine print/their original terms give them the discretion to vary their terms/change the terms as they saw fit (or a clause along those lines)?
