hi. i have an interesting query regarding a hypothetical case. Assume that an offence is committed in 1985 by a 14year old person. Now if the doli incapax law changes from 10-14years old to 10-13 years old (ie a change in law for the age bracket in 1996). Does that mean in the year 2019... if the charges (from 1985) are brought to court... is the doli incapax period of 10-14 year old still valid?? ie can be relied on retrospectivlely? regards geoff
