VIC Dhs - ordered preservation order now no longer involved

what happens if DHS has put a child with a non biological father ( DNA proved ) through a preservation order but DHS is no longer involved ( case closed) does the biological mother have any rights to seeing her child . The case has not gone to family court . Thanks

Hi Sal,
As soon as the preservation order has expired and the case is closed you shouldn't have any restriction in pursuing to have your parental responsibilities reinstated. This gives a bit more information: http://www.cpmanual.vic.gov.au/site...servation order - information for parents.pdf
I would speak with a family law lawyer to arrange what access and custody you want to re-establish through the court.
