NSW Cooperating with Police - Will Charges be Dropped?

If the police wish to charge/arrest you but they haven't yet for a cybercrime / fraud matter by coming in for an interview, does cooperating with the police by helping with the crime of who is involved, allow for the charges to be dropped under Criminal Law?

If you can show you weren't the offender and another person was (if that is what your question is implying) then most likely yes.
