You don't live on the sth coast of nsw do you?

Do some research. I'm not a doctor, but what I've read suggests you're better off with clean hands rather than gloves... The thinking being clean hands can stave off bugs but gloves pick up the bugs. Kinda same with face masks. When Donald Trump comes out and tells Americans to make a mask at home FFS.... I'll listen to good medical advice...

Other direction! :)

Received a response which seems quite reasonable and rational, for which I am grateful.
Says he would rather avoid the airport, and suggests we both drive around half way - around 6 hours each way, each with the child staying an extra 2-3 weeks and doing school from home (there instead of here). The other option he gave was that he defer the visit and make up the time at a point when things are clearer for all. Think the 2nd option is my preference.
