If a mother was a victim of sexual assault and she changed her mind and wanted a relationship with her child with DHS (Human Services) approval. The social worker recommended she get Centrelink disability pension due to r**e and domestic violence. Would her relationship with her child affect, interfere or jeopardise her getting the pension?

Hi MizzCarmen,

I am assuming from the facts you have provided above that the person was raped, became pregnant, had the child and then put it up for adoption, but now wants to have a relationship with that child after having received advice that she should get a disability pension? I cannot see any reason why she would lose a disability pension.
