I want to apply for a Spouse Visa for Australia. I am in Pakistan currently. There are two problems: one, my partner is currently on a student visa and also holds an inactive bridging visa A as he had applied for Protection Visa 866 and is waiting for its decision, so that means he isn't a permanent resident or Australian citizen yet. Can I still apply as his spouse? Secondly ,our marriage (Nikah) contract was done via video call as he is an asylum seeker and can't travel here due to safety reasons. We have the documentation but will it be okay since the marriage ceremony was held while he was in Australia and I in Pakistan?
