Hi, I was recently convicted and suspended for 3 months for driving under the influence of illicit drugs and was wondering if there is a way to get a drivers licence for work.

Yes there are ways:

Are you a p1 / p2 license holder? Were you suspended by the RMS or disqualified by the court?

What other penalties were ordered?

There is no such thing in NSW as a work licence. A Drug DUI would attract a three month automatic disqualification at court, points are not relevant. You could lodge an appeal in an effort to get a section 10 which needs to be done within 28 days of the conviction.
