My brother who resides with a defacto he openly admits as his "partner", claims to reside in the parent's estate. He doesn't sleep there and performs no useful purpose there either. He has claimed to Police he "lives" there and has signed affidavits which includes his stated place of residence.

How exactly does NSW law decide whether a person resides at a particular address? HAs he broken NSW law by stating an unlawful address?

He has now made a statutory declaration and submission to the high court using a false address - isnt that perjury?
