WA Physical Fight with Partner - Fine from Police?

hi,

My partner and I were recently very drunk and had an argument where we pushed each other. No one was even slightly hurt. It sounds worse than it is! A police officer saw and we got move on notices and said we would get a fine in the mail.

Just wondering if it will just be a fine or will we have to go to court?

Just a fine, probably for offensive conduct which is around $550 each. If you had to go to court you'd have been charged and given a field court attendance notice telling you where and when to appear.
