Hi I need some help on a criminal matter and I'm curious as to whether or not you can do another application for Legal Aid in a different suburb is one had already knocked you back.

Rather than do another application - have you thought about appealing the decision?
On your knock back letter you would have been told how many days you have left to appeal the decision and how to do it. I suggest going to a lawyer for your situation and asking them to help you prepare an appeal to legal aid - they usually know what to write if legal aid have refused your application.
