Where do community legal providers.. ie legal aid publish there financial reports?
Also, in WA legal aid requires lawyers to pass there "test" before being able to recieve legal aid funding when acting for a client. I put two very qualified and reputable family lawyers whom had agreed to act on my behalf for the reduced fee, which I sought out on my own accord, being proactive you could say, after seven years in the court something had to get moved forward.
Can you request to see the costs legal aid has funded in my case. I recall delving into this years ago when my legal aid lawyer didn't attend court and the firm did not contact me.
Any ideas?
