WA Leasing apartment between fifo swings

I own & reside in a 1 bedroom apartment in Perth. I work a 3 & 1 weeks FIFO roster. I would like to share my space in the time l'm away. Is there a legal way l can do this without navigating the residential zoning council approval minefield for short term accommodation?
