VIC Is Head gasket fail covered by dealer warranty ?

Hi ,
bought the 2002 car 5 months ago with 250k odometers and car as brokdown in the road last week as I spoke with mechanic radiator hose bursted and causing to head gasket to fail ,
is dealer obligation to fix the car under ACL while the car is not covered by statuary warranty ?

No obligation by dealer in this case..... Not sure items like a radiator hose would be covered even under a statutory warranty
