I am a stickler for getting recepits.
Is a receipt from Coles, Woolies, a servo or any shop something that a person could use as evidence?
Just curious really
Thanks

Evidence of what, is the question? Just about anything can be evidence if it is sufficiently relevant.

The real questions are: Is it admissible evidence? And does it have probative value (i.e. ‘weight’)?

Is a receipt evidence ie Not at alleged crime scene....

Just a date & time stamped cash receipt... Could have found it or picked it up from a bin at anytime so proves nothing

A date & time stamped receipt with your cash card or credit card number on it... Better

The above plus some in store surveillance footage of you making the purchase.... Very good
