In regard to asking admin to remove the thread, click the report button on one of your own posts (probably the first one) and ask that way - give a brief explanation why. You can also get their attention by tagging them in a post by using the @ character. (@lawanswers).
In the circumstances, I think it may be a good idea, so no objections here.
