I’ve bought and had a car for a couple of months now have had it registered in my name and insured etc however it’s come to my attention after I’ve checked the title that there’s security on it. (yes well too late I know it should have been done before a big oversight on my behalf)where do I stand legally with the car could I legally sell it with full disclosure to a prospective buyer if they wish to take the risk or is that illegal? Do I contact the institution who the money owed? Do I just drive till and hope they pay it off?
