Can a workplace install optical security cameras without notifying staff or any signage to say there are security cameras located at entrance and in foyers under Employment Law?

Yes, you do not need consent in order to obtain visual footage, provided the cameras are not directed at areas where people are engaging in 'private' activities.

Thanks, I was under the impression that there should be a visible sign to say there are security cameras
