QLD Employment Law - Employer Refusing Separation Certificate?

Hello,

My previous employer is refusing to supply a proper separation certificate, even after Centrelink and qbe insurance twice. The workplace ombudsman called them and apparently they only produced a payment summary.

What are my options under employment law after all contact is refused from a major supermarket?

Hi,

Have you gone back to the ombudsman to explain that either the previous employer didn't understand the ombudsman's demands or they deliberately failed to comply?

It may have been a misunderstanding so definitely follow it up with the ombudsman. If they can do no more speak to them about how you go about escalating the matter.
