Separation problem:

I moved into the in-laws' property and invested in property renovations, with estimated value of 70k. I'm of the opinion this is now dead money and the ex will benefit eventually.

Question: Do I have reasonable claim under property settlement? It relates to a separation notice from the ex. Her mother's home!

You should at least add that money to your property pool and see how it pans out.
