QLD Debt and leaving Australia for holiday

I have debt here in Australia about $15,000and in New Zealand student loan which I haven't made a payment owing to date $4,000. I need to go back to New Zealand for family matters and I want to know if I can leave Australia (short stay) if so would I be allowed to return and not have to pay out either debt
